About Lesson

Each lesson will encompass a combination of teaching and learning activities (TLAs) and self-assessment that are aligned to the learning outcomes.

Learner Support Plan

Learners will have an opportunity to engage the facilitators during the synchronous online sessions and face-to-face meetings (for blended courses) through Q&A sessions. Feedback will also be provided remotely by the facilitators.

Resources/ Teaching and learning materials

The following electronic resources will be used to foster interactivity and learner engagement: slide presentations, links to internet-based readings, Open Educational Resources (OER), PDF files, articles, eBooks, YouTube videos, self-recorded lectures, podcasts, interactive quizzes, infographics, interactive charts and diagrams, role play scripts, case studies etc.

Course Assessment Plan

The assessment tasks are aligned to the learning outcomes and TLAs. In addition to self-assessment quizzes at the end of each lesson, other assessments include projects, case study reports, online quizzes, collaborative wikis, discussions, blogs, journals, etc.

Supporting Technologies

Both synchronous and asynchronous supporting technologies aligned to the LearnDash learning management system will be used. Examples include Synchronous (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, etc.); Asynchronous (Discussion Forum, Wiki, journals etc.), and other software e.g. PowerPoint, polling software, Google Drive, etc.
