Principle of the Living Soil

“In Sustainable Agriculture, soil being the basis of existence for plant and animal life is said to be either “living” or “dead”. This argument is derived from the fact that soil supports life. Consequently, for the soil to be productive on sustainable basis, it requires air, water, micro and macro-organisms, organic and inorganic matter. Therefore, to maintain the productivity of a living soil, continuous “feeding” of these soil using natural or organic fertilizers is necessary. This in return causes the soil to support life in a sustainable way”
